Meet Phoebe!

Hi everyone! My name is Phoebe, and I am the “Project Manager for Authors” on the Made in Millersville Journal team. My role involves communicating with all of the authors planning to publish with the journal to make the process as organized and easy as possible! I help edit, set dates for drafts, and solve any issue I can within the system of publishing with us.

On top of my internship with the Journal, I work at the Writing Center here on campus and act as the lead editor for the University Research Newsletter. I find great joy in writing any sort of paper, and I find even more joy in helping people write when I can. When I am not typing up essays on my computer, I am usually reading some sort of dystopia… or Harry Potter for the 10th time through.

Aside from my passion for writing, I am currently working on getting my BSE. I plan to begin teaching high school right after graduation and see where it takes me. I am hoping to publish my first novel on the side of my teaching career, but it is too soon to tell what opportunities will arise. Either way, I am stoked to be on the path I am!

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments regarding my position or the Journal in general, I will be in the Made in Millersville Office from 11a.m.-12p.m. every Monday. If you don’t have questions regarding the Journal but want to chat about Harry Potter… also don’t be afraid to stop by! Especially if you are a Ravenclaw like me.

I look forward to working with you all!
