Meet Jack!

Hello everyone! My name is Jack, and I am a part of the editorial team for this year’s edition of the Made in Millersville Journal! Aside from working with writers during their publication and editing process, I serve as the Marketing and Outreach Specialist for the Journal. My role is to raise the profile and highlight the multidisciplinary value of the Journal. My goal is to connect the amazing student publications with other student and off-campus organizations. Check out our informational resources and advertisements on Millersville WIXQ radio, bulletin boards, and ‘The Spot’ TV screens around campus this semester!

The Made in Millersville Journal means a lot to me personally. Helping students to communicate their wonderful work outside of their individual classrooms is how young writers can realize their potential and make a difference in the world. We at the journal hope to give the publications exposure to professional organizations who will want to meet the writers behind it. Working in all levels of the publication process gives us experience we can bring into future endeavors.

I am currently in my senior year as a Communications major with an option in Broadcasting. I participate in the Millerville Midnight Run 24-hour film festival, and you might see my promotional work for student organizations around campus. In the future, I plan to continue my education by working toward a Master’s degree in broadcasting, or an Associates degree in conservation and natural sciences.

My hobbies are all over the place. I love watching Knicks basketball, reading about animal and paleontological research, and watching all types of films.

You can find me in the Made in Millersville office on the second floor of the McNairy Library on Mondays & Wednesdays from 12-2. Feel free to stop by and chat, ask questions, or gather information about the Journal! I look forward to working with all you talented writers!
