Anterior Cruciate Ligaments

Alexis Jenkins definitely is very active from the start. Sports have always been her passion; growing up, you could always catch her outside at the softball field playing with her high school, tournament team, or family. This all was until she had an almost career-ending injury occur not just once but twice. Luckily, she could continue to play two years of college softball, but she always wondered why tearing your ACL, also known as your Anterior Cruciate Ligament, was such a big deal. Now years later, she is a Senior here at Millersville studying Sports Journalism. After graduation, she plans to work her way into the ESPN world to eventually become an ESPN Broadcast Journalist.

Transformational Leadership: What it takes to be a Great Business Leader

Tristan Rush is currently in his Freshman year at Millersville University. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. His research was motivated by his goal to work as a leader within the Computer Science field. As a result, he has spent his time researching transformational leadership, as well as other leadership styles, to determine what is involved in being an effective leader within an organization. Tristan aims to further his research by specifying which traits in different leadership styles will lead to a desired outcome, such as innovation or sales. The skills and experience he acquires through his research will be beneficial to his goals of operating a business within the tech industry.
