Mihir Saudagar is a senior at Millersville University majoring in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. His Economics classes piqued his interest in tax theory, so he published a paper on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in the MIM journal last year. His minor classes involved various Finance classes, and once he began learning the concepts, he was interested in Finance as well. He is currently writing two papers for Made in Millersville; one paper studies the financial structure of Apple and the other paper studies the organizational structure of Google. He is also in the process of finishing his Honors Thesis for the Economics Department. His thesis, “Do Professions Have an Impact on the Gender Income Gap?” studies whether the income gap is influenced by professions and compares it across various fields. He also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Marauder Fund, a student investment association on campus. After completing his undergraduate studies, he plans on heading to graduate school at Penn State this fall to pursue a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance.
