Machine Learning Techniques to Improve Users’ Music Listening
By samantha noggle
Samantha Noggle is currently in her senior year at Millersville University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Her research was motivated by her personal experience of constantly skipping through her Spotify playlists. As a result, she developed an interest in utilizing artificial intelligence to predict whether a user is likely to skip a particular song, based on their past behavior during their listening session. In the future, Samantha aims to advance her research by creating a shuffle algorithm that can dynamically adjust the selection of songs in real-time, in response to the user's mood. The skills and experience acquired through this work will be highly beneficial to her goal of pursuing a graduate degree in the future.
