Anterior Cruciate Ligaments

Alexis Jenkins definitely is very active from the start. Sports have always been her passion; growing up, you could always catch her outside at the softball field playing with her high school, tournament team, or family. This all was until she had an almost career-ending injury occur not just once but twice. Luckily, she could continue to play two years of college softball, but she always wondered why tearing your ACL, also known as your Anterior Cruciate Ligament, was such a big deal. Now years later, she is a Senior here at Millersville studying Sports Journalism. After graduation, she plans to work her way into the ESPN world to eventually become an ESPN Broadcast Journalist.

Kevin Santopadre is a senior from McHenry, Illinois with a double major in Media Arts Production and Sports Journalism. He is very excited to complete his final semester and graduate in just three years. After graduation, Santopadre plans to embark on a 5-month hike along the historic Pacific Crest Trail. This adventure has inspired him to create his Made in Millersville project. Santopadre is excited to begin a new chapter of his life after college by spending time alone in the wilderness, filming his experience, and eventually sharing it with others. He is extremely passionate about being active and outdoors, as well as building on his production knowledge, and creating a documentary for all to enjoy.
