Anterior Cruciate Ligaments
By Alexis Jenkins
Alexis Jenkins definitely is very active from the start. Sports have always been her passion; growing up, you could always catch her outside at the softball field playing with her high school, tournament team, or family. This all was until she had an almost career-ending injury occur not just once but twice. Luckily, she could continue to play two years of college softball, but she always wondered why tearing your ACL, also known as your Anterior Cruciate Ligament, was such a big deal. Now years later, she is a Senior here at Millersville studying Sports Journalism. After graduation, she plans to work her way into the ESPN world to eventually become an ESPN Broadcast Journalist.

an exploration of shigeko kubota's artwork as it relates to perceptions of gender
By keikoa miller
Keikoa Miller is a senior in the Interactive and Graphic design major. He was driven to write and present about Shigeko Kubota because of her unique video sculptures that caught his eye during research. As someone who is constantly using technology, exploring how technology is reinterpreted as art is a huge interest to him. By participating in Made in Millersville he wanted to put myself out there and encourage himself to present in a public setting. While extremely nervous at first, he found the experience to be fun and enlightening as he was cheered on by many of his friends and peers.
